Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to Heatskins.com (“Heatskins”, “Platform”, “we”, “our” or “us”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Platform. By using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms, which constitute a legally binding agreement between you and ELEGY SOFTWARE LIMITED (Company No. 16706832, registered at 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom).

If you do not agree with these Terms, please refrain from using the Platform.

The Platform enables users to buy, sell, and trade virtual in-game items (“Items”) from Counter-Strike (CS:GO / CS2), Dota 2, and Team Fortress 2. Transactions are conducted using the Steam platform, owned by Valve Corporation.

We are not affiliated with Valve Corporation or Steam in any way. Valve owns all rights to the games and items. Heatskins acts as an independent third-party trading platform.

2. Eligibility and Use of the Platform

• You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into contracts.
• Access and use of the Platform is limited to residents of countries where such services are legal.
• We reserve the right to refuse service, block accounts, or cancel transactions at our sole discretion.

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, limited license to use the Platform, subject to compliance with these Terms.

3. Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
• We may request proof of identity (KYC) to prevent fraud or comply with legal obligations.
• You may not:
  • Create accounts on behalf of third parties
  • Operate multiple accounts
  • Share one account between several users
• If fraudulent or suspicious activity is detected, we may suspend or terminate your account.

When you log in via Steam, we receive only your Steam64ID (not your login credentials). This may allow us to access your Steam profile details and inventory through the Steam Web API.

You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials, Steam Trade URL, and all activity on your account.

4. Security

Heatskins staff will never:

• Ask for your items “for verification”
• Send you empty trade offers
• Contact you via Steam for support

All support is handled exclusively through the Platform or support@heatskins.com. We disclaim all liability for fraud by third parties impersonating our staff.

5. Trades and Exchanges

• The Platform allows you to exchange your Items for Items in our inventory.
• Only digital in-game Items are supported; no real-world goods or currencies are traded.
• Values are determined automatically by our pricing algorithm, based on market data and internal commission rates.
• If your Item’s value exceeds the Item you want to receive, the balance is stored as Platform credit. This credit is not redeemable for cash.
• Once an Item is withdrawn to your Steam account, the transaction is final and cannot be reversed.

We reserve the right to cancel, decline, or block trades at our discretion.

6. Wallet and Balance

• The Heatskins wallet is a virtual balance system, not a bank account.
• Funds can only be used to purchase or trade Items on the Platform.
• Wallet funds are non-withdrawable and cannot be converted into real money.
• Daily limits may apply (e.g., maximum equivalent of USD 3,000 per user).
• We may suspend or remove inactive accounts after 12 months of inactivity, with 14 days’ prior notice.

7. Refund Policy

• All Item trades are final and non-refundable once delivered to your Steam account.
• Refunds are only possible in the following cases:
  • Technical error preventing delivery
  • Duplicate payment
  • Proven unauthorized transaction
• Refund requests must be made within 14 days.
• Refunds, if approved, will be returned via the original payment method.
• A processing fee may apply.

8. Prohibited Conduct

• Fraud, scams, or money laundering
• Using bots or automation tools
• Market manipulation or abnormal price fluctuation trades
• Violating Valve’s or Steam’s terms of service

Violations may result in account suspension, cancellation of trades, and reporting to authorities.

9. Intellectual Property

• All content, design, software, and branding of Heatskins are owned by ELEGY SOFTWARE LIMITED.
• Third-party trademarks (Valve, Steam, CS:GO, Dota 2, TF2) remain the property of their respective owners.
• No license to Valve’s intellectual property is granted by these Terms.

10. Limitation of Liability

Heatskins provides services “as is”. We are not responsible for:

• Item value fluctuations
• Account bans, trade locks, or restrictions imposed by Valve or Steam
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Our maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 6 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Heatskins, its affiliates, and staff against any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend, block, or delete your account at any time for violations of these Terms or applicable laws.

13. Amendments

We may update these Terms at any time. Updated versions take effect once published on the Platform. Continued use after changes means acceptance.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed under the laws of England and Wales. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of London, UK.
